Job Description

The Head of Sales is a key member of the Sales/Business Development team who reports to the Chief Executive Officer. They will be responsible for maintaining and improving existing client relations as well as establishing new accounts.

The Head of Sales has a range of responsibilities including increasing profitable sales, partnering with Sales/Business Development team members on program success and meeting or exceeding expected sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Create, manage and maintain a sales pipeline and forecasts to achieve sales goals

  • Execute the sales process from initial outreach through contract negotiations

  • Responsible for the operational analysis of current clients, pricing and projects

  • Handle all prospect communications and resolve related issues, or escalate the issues to the appropriate person with proposed solutions

  • Evaluate and communicate product needs for client accounts

  • Once sales close, create a thoughtful hand-off plan for the Analytics & Customer Engagement and Engineering teams

  • Generate presentations and reports that outline account health and status

  • Prepare and coordinate proposals and related sales documentation

  • Monitor individual sales activity and performance in relation to recurring sales goals

  • Plan, schedule, organize and control daily tasks to yield maximum sales results

  • Partner with Sales Support on executing campaigns that drive qualified leads

Requirements

  • 4+ years of sales experience

  • Experience selling healthcare IT solutions for healthcare providers

  • Experience meeting and exceeding sales team revenue goals

  • Heavy Salesforce experience

  • Superior communication, presentation and negotiation skills

  • Superb problem solving skills and flexible attitude

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time

  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships

  • Ability to efficiently learn and advocate for CodaMetrix’s product and mission

Beneficial Experience

  • Understanding of complex machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies
