In this position...

You will report to the Director of Product, Global Digital Platform and Strategy and will partner closely with engineering, design, and business partners. The Ford Motor Credit Company has a Product Organization and this role falls in the US organization of that team.

A Group Product Manager, Experience Platform , will elevate the focus on digital platforms to improve speed to market, and high reuse globally, and that other product teams can leverage to create amazing customer experiences. These experiences will have the power to transform our relationship with our customers. You will be responsible for creating and driving global platform strategies with Engineering while enabling internal customers who expand experiences to end users. These tools and platforms are used by our Consumer, Commercial, and Dealer teams as they build their end-to-end customer journeys. You’ll work closely with our Global Product and Tech teams to understand what capabilities need to be built on a global scale and use your judgment to identify specific global or regional market needs. This is a rare opportunity to apply your unique Product, Design, and Tech skillsets to create your own Product practice to support the wider business.

What you'll do...

As a Group Product Manager, Experience Platform , you will be responsible and accountable for the delivery and growth of innovative digital solutions that other product teams can leverage. You'll manage a team of product managers in a complex and matrixed environment whilst owning the future vision and roadmap of your area.

  • Elevate focus on digital platforms to improve speed to market and reuse globally.

  • Create and drive global platform strategies with Engineering.

  • Land awesome digital products that will revolutionize the financing business, including personalization.

  • Drive the following digital platform areas: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for Web & Mobile Platforms to implement digital platform frameworks, workflows, strategy & implementation of digital content and asset management (DAM), design authority, design system, content modeling, governance and capabilities that other product teams can leverage to create amazing customer experiences.

  • Own and drive other digital platform priorities and decision-making with GraphQL in partnership with the Engineering and other product teams.

  • Strategize, enable and implement communication and chat(bot) capabilities across Ford Credit products to enable all Ford Credit Product teams and business lines for Consumers, Commercial and Dealer to achieve successful outcomes.

  • Drive the vision and product roadmap, while delivering high quality and impactful launches through close partnerships with a cross-functional team.

  • Support end-to-end online experiences from Shopping, Buying, and Credit Approvals to Ownership and Renewals of financing vehicles and services.

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, and other teams to create, drive, and deliver an innovative, compelling, and user-friendly experience to customers.

  • Inspire and grow a team of product managers and other team members and collaborate with a large team of dedicated engineers and designers.

  • Unlock roadblocks at the corporate level and cultivate collaboration with senior product leaders across Ford Credit through leadership, creativity, intelligence, and presence.

  • Develop and grow the team through mentoring, coaching, succession planning, and retention strategies.

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of experience and education

  • 10+ years’ experience working with online data-oriented frameworks, online asset and content management and products, and in particular AEM experience (Adobe Experience Manager).

  • A proven leader who drives the strategic roadmap and end-to-end product management lifecycle from development to deployment.

  • Someone who understands the customer journey and has developed and delivered products to improve the customer experience and customer engagement

  • You champion the voice of the customer and integrate customer insight into the decision-making process.

  • You’ve built, customized, or improved back-end products and services that can be leveraged by other teams and systems.

  • You have the ability to articulate a strategic mission that translates into the necessary actions to drive outcomes and land products that improve the customer experience.

  • Experience working on global teams and in a matrixed team structure and influencing across product areas

  • A digital native and a leader who has driven and led disruption and innovation and is energized by developing new products with the customer in mind.

  • Someone who inspires creativity and out-of-the-box thinking in developing product ideas and problem-solving.

  • An excellent communicator with the ability to articulate a vision and seek alignment across all parties.

  • You have the ability to influence without authority, working on/with technical and cross-functional or highly matrixed teams who do not report to this role to get things done.
