Asset Liability Management (ALM), a division of Global Treasury, is responsible for managing the corporate balance sheet, net interest income (NII) forecast and interest rate risk positioning. The team focuses on optimizing the risk/reward relationship by recommending strategies for sustaining and growing NII while being mindful of regulatory constraints. ALM routinely collaborates with other areas across Global Treasury, Finance, Risk and business units to operate within the risk appetite outlined by the Board of Directors.

The candidate will be a key contributor on the Data Analytics team within ALM. He/she is responsible for the team’s effort to oversee, analyze and reconcile the corporate balance sheet data. The Assistant Vice President will be responsible for ensuring the accurate transfer of source system data into ALM’s balance sheet and NII forecasting system (QRM) and communicating the impact of data on the forecast and interest rate risk measures. The role requires working closely with others in ALM, Global Treasury and business partners throughout the bank to support company-wide initiatives and the overall data management strategy.


  • Executing complex data team processes including monthly balance sheet data loads
  • Supporting ongoing balance sheet, NII forecast, and interest rate risk measurement efforts
  • Responding in a timely and accurate manner to ad-hoc requests
  • Maintaining risk excellence by challenging assumptions, escalating potential issues and executing required controls to support oversight and governance requirements
  • Working knowledge of SQL logic, Management Repository (MR) tools, and QRM software


  • 3+ years’ experience in financial services, Treasury experience preferred
  • Strong quantitative aptitude/skills
  • Proven ability to solve problems and improve existing processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to create concise, professional and influential presentations
  • Successfully collaborates across teams and works well independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong PC skills, including MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and QRM
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Economics, Finance or quantitative discipline
