This is what you will do:

The Operations & Engagement Specialist’s focus is to coordinate internal communications and engagement initiatives for Global Medical Affairs. This role works together with the Chief of Staff to Head of Medical Affairs and cross-functional partners to develop communications strategy and plan, and coordinates the delivery of activities against the plan working with various stakeholders throughout the process. This individual will be a high functioning, highly adaptable resource for Medical Affairs and will conduct project work including surveys, interviews, and communications representation cross-functionally for Medical Affairs.

You will be responsible for:

  • Working very closely with the Chief of Staff to develop and execute Global Medical Affairs communication and employee engagement programs

  • Identifying gaps and developing innovative solutions to enable better communications sharing

  • Managing internal communications (memos, newsletters etc.)

  • Drafting content for broader company consumption (articles, etc)

  • Supporting the planning and execution of e vents such as Town Halls, including organizing and developing content

  • Managing ongoing engagement initiatives

  • Fostering relationships with key cross-functional partners, and collaborating to ensure alignment with communications strategy and lock-step tactical delivery

    You will need to have:

  • Excellent written and verbal skills and strong interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time, with ability to manage timeline across multiple stakeholders

  • Enthusiasm and positive attitude, and willingness to develop

  • Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and manage change and ambiguity

  • Experience/ability to work in a matrix cross-functional environment, both onsite and remotely

  • The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. As is typical of an office-based role, employees must be able, with or without an accommodation to: use a computer; engage in communications via phone, video, and electronic messaging; problem solve; engage in complex and non-linear thought, analysis, and dialogue; collaborate with others; maintain general availability during standard business hours.

    We would prefer for you to have:

  • 2+ years of experience drafting communications within biopharma industry

  • High level of proficiency in MS Office software including: Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint

  • Experience in web design and content production
