IDBS is a leading global provider of sophisticated software for research and development (R&D) organizations to securely capture, manage, share and exploit structured and unstructured data.
The Inbound Marketing Manager drives the marketing funnel and executes campaign strategies that increases product sales and global brand awareness. This role plays a vital role in enabling IDBS’s customers to realize the maximum value and benefit from our software solutions.
This position is an integral part of the marketing team and will be located in Boston, MA. At IDBS, our customers around the globe trust us with their data, their business and their success, and we enable them to get back to what they do best: science!

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead programs for new content creation (to write and produce various types of downloadable content and blog regularly)
In charge of the strategy for attracting website traffic by crafting shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread both our brand and our content.
Responsible for creating, growing, and converting leads into qualified opportunities
Build rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience (including blog posts, collaterals, eBooks, webinars)
Partner with the sales team to define and implement effective targeting and bring together input to drive product improvements and marketing decisions.
Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing process.
Establish closed-loop analytics to optimize inbound marketing activity turned into customers to expand our company’s digital footprint, awareness, subscribers, and leads.
Coordinate meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and defining requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and handling mailing lists.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience or a master’s with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
Proven experience in product marketing (including campaigns, new product launches, Go to Market tactics), communications program management, domestic and international marketing, or combination with sales.
Knowledge of Salesforce tool (Reports, Campaigns, Dashboards, List imports, cleaning data) and Pardot (Campaigns, Forms, developing Landing pages).
Knowledge in Analytics (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Hotjar)
Ability to travel 10% Travel
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Relevant life sciences/pharmaceutical industry
