The Tax Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Issue Identification, Tracking, and Resolution

  • Issue / Policy Documentation and Dissemination of Resolution and Policy calls with Client and Audit Team

  • Project Tracking including Timeliness and Quality Metrics with strategic partner and other internal/ external parties

  • Review and Maintain Fund Complexity Ratings

  • FYE Provision/Excise purpose

  • Conduct Preplanning meetings with strategic partners to ensure client policies are followed


  • 5-7 years of experience in Tax Operations

  • Strong technical skills including tax accounting principles and theories

  • Knowledge of 40 ACTs Accounting-Fund Accounting and Financial Reporting

  • Ability to be effective in a global operating environment and matrix management organizations

  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills

  • Ability to cultivate and foster relationships both internally and with external parties

  • Strong client service skills

  • Analytical skills, problem solving, good critical thinking and decision-making skills

  • Experience working across multiple business areas and/or functions to deliver results

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; executive presentation skills

  • Ability to manage time, work independently and multitask in a fast paced environment
