Financial Services Risk Management Advisor, FSRM (Sector Compliance – EY Comply) - Financial Services Office (Senior)(Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Boston, MA.

Assist clients in transforming their business models to address their most complex regulatory reporting needs and technology challenges, especially in leading mutual fund, hedge fund, and private equity advisors. Provide clients with strategic recommendations to manage risk and complex global regulatory issues. Provide services to clients to help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements governing financial and securities institutions. Work on a proprietary tool that brings together investment risk data, transactions, and holdings’ data into a single platform for workflow management, transparency, and accountability. Focus on financial organizations that address SEC, CFTC, FINRA, NFA OCC and other regulatory requirements for retail and institutional broker-dealer, capital markets, banking, swap dealer trading, investment management, and investment advisor compliance. Assess, design, and implement regulatory compliance reporting programs to meet advisor and fund financial regulatory requirements.

Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with team members with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services focusing on more complex, judgmental and/or specialized issues. Demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Learn about EY and its service lines and actively assess and present ways to apply knowledge and services.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40-45 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Engineering, Law, or a related field and 2 years of work experience in regulatory reporting and/or regulatory compliance software in the financial services industry. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Engineering, Law or a related field and 1 year of work experience in regulatory reporting and/or regulatory compliance software in the financial services industry.

Must have 1 year of experience in investment or fund accounting and/or fund administration, which must include conducting technical reviews and working with fund financial and regulatory reporting for SEC regulations and U.S. GAAP.

Must have 1 year of experience in use of leading ETL applications, use of open-source scripting languages, such as Python, MS application development tools, and experience in the AGILE software development methodology.

Must have 1 year of experience in Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, and/or similar data vendors.

Requires travel up to 75%, including international travel up to 5% to serve client needs.
