In this role, the Director will build and be a leader for Guidehouse Consulting’s fraud and financial crimes technology solutions. The Director will join the leadership team to ensure that Fraud technologies goals (as part of the larger crimes technology practice area) are met including: market share is obtained, profit and operational goals are attained, solutions and product strategy is defined and executed, vendor alliances are established, and resources are developed that deliver high impact to clients. The Director also will be accountable to help the Financial Services Practice (FS) meets it financial goals.

Ideal candidates will have expertise in the banking, financial services or fintech space, with emphasis in technology solutions, along with Fraud detection. We are looking for consulting leader with deep Fraud experience. Digital identity solutions and transaction fraud knowledge including Wire, ACH, Check, RTP & P2P transactions is preferred.

Come design & deploy the next generation of fraud solutions to identify the bad actors and make it easier for people and organizations to move money.


  • Establish a clear product vision, strategy, roadmap, and prioritized solution portfolio.

  • Orchestrate Go-To-Market activities by working with the Financial Service Practice and Sales and Marketing executives to execute on Guidehouse’s fraud strategy and creating supporting collateral materials as needed.

  • Develop tactical fraud solution roadmaps for fraud analytics, digital anti-fraud strategy, fraud technology transformation, testing anti-fraud controls, and fraud training.

  • Build strategic relationships with fraud technology vendors.

  • Contribute to Guidehouse FS business strategy and translate the business strategy into tangible fraud strategies that ensure the division meets its growth objectives.

  • Establish and grow relationships with key digital stakeholder groups across FS and client accounts.

  • Actively participate in enterprise wide strategies initiatives and collaboration groups as a thought leader.

  • Achieve annual fraud practice revenue and profitability goals.

  • Continual innovation of Fraud practice capability based on market analysis, segment/firm strategy and client needs in the aligned marketplace.

  • You will be a lead fraud expert responsible directly and indirectly for selling fraud and Financial Crimes solutions to clients, building partnerships and alliances and training the practice resources to achieve profitable growth.



  • Minimum 12 years of experience financial crime technologies with a minimum of 5 yrs. in fraud industry

  • 5+ yrs in financial services technology and or consulting in financial crimes and/or Fraud solutions

  • Minimum 10 years of previous team/project lead, supervisory or management experience.

  • Must have working knowledge of fintech, banking or financial services industry.

  • 5+ years in Financial Services Fraud Technologies, Identity resolution and/or Fraud detection focused in delivering high impact solutions

  • 3+ yrs. selling consulting services $3M+ annually

  • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university required.


  • Master’s degree.

  • Previous experience working with and/or supporting software development teams.

  • Able to interact with senior level executive management, both internally and externally.

  • Possesses deep knowledge of the financial industry.

  • Possesses 5+ yrs of management consulting.

  • Superior time and project management skills.

  • The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.

  • This position is open to candidate virtually from EST, CST, PST time zone as well as AZ, UT.
