Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Assist with client/agent inquiries regarding a variety of premium and policy related issues

  • Assist with daily premium receivable and reconciliation functions

  • Assist with payroll verifications, interim audits, unmatched reports and analysis, post payments, monthly/quarterly report documentation.

  • Assist in monthly premium accounting reconciliation process.

  • Work with multiple company-wide teams and resources to address premium related stats and requirements.

  • Assist with policy set-up, administration, monitoring, and reporting related to premium accounting

  • Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on collected data within mandated time frames

  • Produce 1099’s and monitor any issues related to payments

  • Develop and maintain ad-hoc reports

  • Collaborates with management on means of improving efficiency.

  • Prepare client invoices for multiple projects and track receipt of payment

  • Reconcile bank account and monitor uncashed checks

  • Process and track accounts payable vendor invoices

  • Communicate effectively with client and staff

  • Work within a team to accomplish other duties on the project to meet necessary deadlines

  • Conducts research and data validation.

  • Outreach to suppliers, providers, provider networks, and provider offices.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to manage and coordinate several ongoing assignments while meeting deadlines and performance goals

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Process improvement oriented

  • Ability to work independently and with a team

  • Strong Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Power Point and Word

  • Experience with Sequel is a plus

    Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher is required

  • 1+ years of experience with Premium accounting
