Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Description

• We are looking for a highly motivated Facilities Maintenance Technician who is skilled in a variety of work including the preventative maintenance and assistance in repair of buildings and grounds in assigned areas.

• The role involves inspecting assigned areas on a routine basis and performing maintenance where necessary to keep the facility in a functioning and serviceable condition.

• The successful candidate will also be responsible for completing daily, weekly, and monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures, repairing and maintaining various fixtures and hardware, and reporting any major maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of building maintenance experience within apartment complexes, hotels, or general property maintenance

• Previous experience working within maintenance at hotel or apartment complex

• Experience being a customer focused environment (apartments, hotels, corporate facilities)

• Experience working on rooftop HVAC units

• Familiar with VAV (Variable air volume) Boxes

• Excellent communication skills including: written, verbal, email, etc.

• Previous customer service/customer facing experience

Work Environment

• Back bay in Boston (Training will take place at hotel connected to TD Garden) - Don't forget you'll have FREE parking

• Please note that these roles will not involve going into occupied hotel rooms.

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a daily basis

Shift

• Hours vary: 10:00AM-8:00PM/12:00pm-8:00pm/10:00am-6:00pm.

• Tuesday-Saturday

• Sunday-Thursday

• Days of the week also vary

• Will be off either Friday and Saturday or Sunday and Monday
