Project Location:NY- Onsite
Job Title:Epic Training Manager
CTG is seeking an Epic Training Manager for a new Epic implementation.
Work with subject matter experts, department leadership, CT’s and clinical business analysts to identify ongoing training needs of varied staff
Establish instructional goals and ensure content matches goals
Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process and utilize tested instructional design theories, practices and methods
Develop evaluation tools for assessing effectiveness of learning experiences for staff
Work with CT’s to create learning materials (print, eLearnings, demonstrations, etc.) and maintain project documentation and course folders
Work with client Senior Management to develop class schedules
Where appropriate, oversee vendor/contractor management of CT resources
Five years previous experience training adult learners in a corporate or healthcare/academic environment. Seven years preferred.
Master’s degree in a related field preferred, major in HR Education, Organizational Development and Training preferred
Strong customer service orientation
The ability to serve as a role model and influence others
Working Knowledge of adult learning styles and the ability to conduct needs assessments
Excellent training skills to include the creation, design and delivery of courses
Excellent interpersonal , organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook is also required. Familiarity with e-survey tools (i.e. Survey Monkey) and Learning Management Systems/adjunct learning modules will be helpful.
Ability to utilize a variety of visual aids and training approaches-tailored to all levels of participants, hospital-wide.
