ITW Residential & Renovation division is seeking a District Sales Manager to implement National and Regional sales strategies with Home Centers through store execution, in-store or virtual functions to include but not be limited to selling events, new product introductions, product training workshops, end-user demonstrations.

This role is based in the Boston, MA area.

  • Analyze territory and product lines to maximize sales opportunities

  • Identify and present strategic recommendations for product additions and expansions to key home center partners based on data analysis

  • Assist in implementation of sales program additions and expansions through new products/promotions/ additional square footage to increase overall product line profitability

  • Develop strategic relationships with market and regional key contacts to drive expansion opportunities, improve our presence in the aisle and engage key accounts

  • Implement new product introductions at the Channel customers

  • Plan and execute demonstrations to promote products to the Channel and Channel end customers

  • Plan and execute Channel district/local training sessions

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor degree

  • 3+ years of sales experience required; experience with Home Centers and/or contractors preferred

  • Strong presentation and communication skills

  • Must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to travel up to 50%

  • Training experience preferred

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

  • Experience identifying and implementing sales programs

  • Must be able to drive a motor vehicle and maintain a clean driving record

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral visions, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Position requires approximately 50% travel and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
