We are looking for passionate, motivated people who want to join a growing team to make a difference in customers' lives and who want to be on the ground floor of digital innovation that aims to reinvent what a pharmacy and a health care company can be.The Director, Retail Product Office, will play a critical role in cross-portfolio enterprise intake, budgeting and capital allocation, external research, strategy development, and product team support for the Digital Retail Product organization (which includes Omnichannel, Loyalty, and Health Services Digital Product areas). The Director will lead a team and partner closely with peers across Digital product, business units, finance, and IT to drive alignment, process improvements, portfolio communications, and more. Job Responsibilities• Accountable for the management of priorities between business unit partners and digital product leaders across the Retail Digital portfolio and in partnership with peers in other portfolios; coordinate intake process for complex, cross-portfolio initiatives • Drive outside-in thinking and strategic framing to help evaluate choices & identify critical trends and future opportunities to inform product roadmaps 6+ months out• Support the team of product managers to ensure consistent coverage across the Retail trains including ecommerce, app/account, loyalty, health services, API COE as well as with Digital operations, marketing and core IT system teams• Drive the Retail Digital annual planning process, and serve as key Product contact for Finance for budgeting, staffing, and forecasting needs throughout the year • Proactively engage with BU partners and core IT teams to understand roadmaps and actively connect the dots back to digital backlogs, identify opportunities for reusability and highlight any potential gaps• Support product teams to ensure effective communication to BUso Lead the move to objective, fact based milestones rather than date driven waterfall milestoneso Ensure work priorities are measurable opportunities, translated to epics, but not detailed feature plans• Lead, in partnership with Solution Train Engineers, the portfolio Kanban sessions with train leads and epic owners to ensure we’re making the best use of budget / team capacity for the highest priority work • Lead the Lean Portfolio function for the portfolio, bring train leads and epic owners together to ensure highest and best use of budget and team capacity• Prepare for and lead monthly product review meetings with business unit partners and digital product leaders o Develop content for leadership product updateso Publish monthly product updates on outcomes o Publish rolling 4 quarter roadmap on a monthly basiso Publish acknowledged changes to priorities and shifting of worko Partner across digital product portfolios as needed to align work o Drive product demos as neededo Address meeting follow ups, taking ownership to ensure completion of action items• Partner with BU adoption leaders to ensure product teams are aligned with adoption strategies and tacticso Ensure product office is active contributor to adoption plans• Ensure enterprise and BU funding mechanisms are clearly understood and aligned to digital value streams and ARTs

Required Qualifications

• 5-8 years required of experience, particularly in product management, product development, and corporate strategy.• Proven ability to maintain strong relationships across multiple cross functional stakeholders and constituents• Proven ability to deliver convincing business case recommendations to senior management • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors)• Demonstrated collaborative style, with ability to lead and influence diverse teams • 3+ years of people management experience• Familiarity with agile processes, such as scrum, Kanban, and/or the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).Work from home, telework is offered

Preferred Qualifications

8-10 years of experience preferred, particularly in product management, product development, and corporate strategy within retail, healthcare or portfolio management.Annual budget planning experience.


• Bachelor Degree required• Masters Degree preferred
