Core Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic communication. Develop written documents and presentations serving senior level decision forums. Consult with Senior Vice President of Brand marketing Insights and Partnerships on core messages and craft narratives suitable to senior level partners.

  • Project lead key deliverables. Handle the timelines of, and coordinate inputs into, Brand Marketing Insights and Partnerships deliverables for key decision forums. This includes executive level decision forums.

  • Lead the programming of key Brand Marketing Insights and Partnership (BMIP) meetings. Coordinate the agenda and content for key BMIP meetings, including BMIP-Leadership Team, BMIP town halls, BMIP orientation and BMIP conference.

  • Drive brand and media governance. Serve as the primary steward from Brand Marketing Insights and Partnerships (BMIP) on governing bodies for Responsible Engagement with Children, Brand Partnership Traffic Light, Brand Safety in Media. This involves regular participation in governing meetings, commanding relevant BMIP resources to address key issues, and advising decision makers on brand and child safety matters related to marketing.

  • Support Marketing Transformation change management. Assist Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing Insights and Partnerships on Marketing Transformation leadership and change management initiatives. This involves project management of key initiatives, managing the portfolio of such initiatives, and sparring on and preparation of key communication materials.

This role is critical in scaling senior leadership within Brand Marketing Insights and Partnerships. With the significant recent growth of the brand and business, and the corresponding expansion of BMIP responsibilities (especially with Marketing Transformation), more is being asked of BMIP leaders to drive the vital change. But to effectively lean into those new responsibilities, BMIP leadership requires reliable capacity and capability to take on the responsibilities outlined above. Simply put, this role is crucial to enabling the successful implementation of the Marketing Transformation.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, especially to senior level audiences and decision forums.

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting or similar experience.

  • Strategic approach with an ability to translate sophisticated data into actionable insights.

  • Proven track record in project management, team orchestration, and results delivery.

  • Extremely strong collaboration skills across functions and levels.

  • A self-starter, who becomes comfortable with ambiguity, deeply curious and willing to take initiative.

  • Background in the toy industry or consumer goods with a family-focused audience.

  • Track record in working with dynamic, multi-cultural team.

  • Experience in Product Development and Marketing.

Additional details on this position

  • The salary for this position has a range of $151,000- $226,000 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.

  • This position will initially be based at 501 Boylston St or 10 St. James Street in Boston, before moving to a new office location at 1001 Boylston St by mid-2025. Our hiring teams will discuss this with you during the interview stages.
