What you'll do here: As Director of Channel Implementation Services, you will be responsible for building a profitable Implementation Services business in North America. This role plays a critical leadership role in the implementation process for our SaaS-based software platforms. Your technical prowess and ability to establish a team will enable you to easily understand the relationship between Infosec IQ and customer networks including firewalls, security appliances, and authentication. You understand and are able to train a team on the scope of feature requests, and how to be a trusted technical advisor to our Channel Partners and their end-user clients through implementation and post-sales customer support. You will be accountable for a defined book of Channel Partners and their end-user clients and all associated client Implementation projects. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to allocating resources based on project demand, and proactively identifying and designing process improvement. Our Director of Channel Implementation services will apply expert knowledge of the implementation and large project process, provide strategic direction, make decisions, and solve complex problems to move the business forward while leading a team. Your responsibilities: + Manage relationship with senior Channel Partner client contacts and other leadership to provide key leadership and oversight to large Channel Partner client implementations + Cultivate open communication with Channel Partner, and business partners in an effort to identify opportunities to improve processes and methodologies + Provide leadership across implementations and facilitate the cross-functional team in development and implementation solutions to address our clients' requirements + Take an integrated approach to solutions, keeping in mind Infosec IQ and Skills platforms + Actively engage with new business scoping & estimating activities, including providing resource estimates & capacity management oversight + Partner with the Sales organization in RFP response creation, site visit preparation/delivery as needed + Establish clearly defined goals, objectives, responsibilities, competencies, and development plans for all team members + Stay on top of industry trends and best practices, market data and new product rollouts + Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the Customer Experience leadership team Skills you will need here: + Candidates should have 7+ years experience in implementation, project management and/or technical sales, with 5+ years managing people and leading teams + Strong history of Channel Management + Hands-on experience with troubleshooting network or technical issues. Knowledge of Active Directory, email servers, SSO, or Learning Management Systems preferred + Extremely organized, steadfast, and customer-focused + Ability to solve a variety of problems typically with technical and sophisticated scopes using exceptional problem solving, analytical, and consultative skills + Proven track record recruiting, developing, coaching and mentoring team members remotely + Ability to foster and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders, resources, management, support staff, and third-party vendors + Ability to provide strategic analysis and collaborate with senior leaders + Must have strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Cengage Group is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
