Vontier Director, Brand & Communications in Boston, Massachusetts

Lead the marketing positioning in North America for the world’s largest and most successful fueling & convenience store technology provider. You will work with product marketers to create marketing campaigns for the launch of new products and services, to positioning our current ones in different segments of the market. Your leadership and expertise are needed to ensure we maintain the core values we represent to our largest customer base, while leveraging new approaches and campaigns through traditional and digital spaces.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and implementing marketing strategies and communication tactics designed for us to maximize each product and service opportunity.

  • Prioritize commercialization activities to address highest priority opportunities and drive appropriate Sales, Marketing & Product Development actions.

  • Lead our efforts with gathering Voice of the Customer to inform our product designs and positioning.

  • Create and manage our Marketing Communications calendar, encapsulating the work of your product management peers to ensure coverage and planning across new product development, product launch, sales collateral, white papers, press releases, Ad agencies, PR firms and our Transformative Marketing initiatives on the web.

  • Manage and mentor the team responsible for our blog posts, copywriting, creative elements and our new LMS (Learning Management System) system for training our direct and distributor sales teams.

  • Lead the team responsible for our trade show, industry and customer events.

  • Partner with our global internal communications team to build better and more inclusive communications for our 5,000 associates worldwide.

Who You Are:

You are able to drive and execute on strategic vision. You are relationship-oriented and know how to build a network to get things done at all levels of the organization. You can figure things out in situations of ambiguity. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, working through challenges, and solving problems.

  • Advertising/Marketing communications related degree, with experience in PR and marketing communications with minimum 5 years’ experience.

  • Experience creating traditional and digital marketing campaigns, sales campaign creation and market research.

  • A track record of success in B2B commercial (sales or business/market development experience)

  • A strong ability to influence, strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills)

  • Ability to travel – estimate 20%
