Manulife Digital Strategy Program Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

To help drive this transformation, we are looking for a Digital Strategy Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of digital projects and programs. This role involves managing multiple digital initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring that projects align with the organization’s strategic objectives. The Digital Program Manager will oversee all aspects of program management, from inception through completion and socialization, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Planning and Strategy
Develop and maintain a digital program roadmap that outlines key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
Ensure that digital projects align with the organization’s strategic objectives and business goals.
Project Management
Oversee the execution of multiple digital projects, ensuring they are on track in terms of scope, time, and budget.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and successes.
Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to ensure project outcomes meet expectations.
Team Coordination and Leadership
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, marketers, and external vendors.
Lead project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they have the resources and information needed to succeed.
Budget and Financial Management
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
Monitor expenditures and financial performance, making adjustments as necessary to stay within budget.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital projects.
Generate regular reports for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting progress, performance metrics, and any areas of concern.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for improving project management processes and methodologies.
Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of future projects.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in digital project management, digital marketing, or related fields
Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall. Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project).
Technical Proficiency: Understanding of digital technologies, including web development, digital marketing, and software development. Ability to liaise with technical teams and understand technical requirements and constraints.
Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate cross-functional teams. Ability to manage and resolve conflicts, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess project performance and identify areas for improvement. Ability to quickly identify problems, analyze potential solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
Financial Acumen: Experience in budget planning and financial management. Ability to track financial performance and implement cost-saving measures.

Salary range is expected to be between
$86,325.00 USD - $155,385.00 USD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
