Description
The Data Scientist uses mathematics, statistics, modeling, business analysis, and technology to transform high volumes of complex data into advanced analytic solutions. The Data Scientist work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
Responsibilities
Humana Pharmacy Solutions is looking to hire a Data Scientist. This role involves building ML predictive models that will improve member health, grow the pharmacy business, and increase customer satisfaction. This role will leverage large, complex pharmacy claims data in order to analyze data and generate predictions. This is a great opportunity for someone:

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, computer science, economics, social sciences, or other quantitative field
Experience building machine learning models
Experience coding in Python (Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, etc...)
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in mathematics, engineering, computer science, economics, social sciences, or other quantitative field
1-2 years of experience building ML predictive models in a business setting
Experience doing data science in the cloud with tools like Azure Databricks, AWS, Snowflake, PySpark, etc.
Experience with SAS
