Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Boston, Massachusetts

Description We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is a short term contract employment opportunity within the industry. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining accurate customer records. You will also provide support in data entry tasks and manage customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and provide high-quality customer service to our customers

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions

• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and detail oriented manner

• Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word to manage and process data

• Handle inbound and outbound calls, ensuring all customer issues are addressed appropriately

• Manage customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed

• Schedule appointments and manage order entries

• Maintain detail oriented email correspondence with customers

• Ensure all customer information is entered and updated accurately in the system

• Continuously improve customer service experience and create engaged customers. Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls and managing inbound-outbound calls.

• Proven experience in a call center customer service role.

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to resolve customer issues efficiently.

• Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.

• Excellent skills in email correspondence and ability to communicate professionally.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

• Experience in order entry is highly desirable.

• Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively.

• Must maintain a high level of professionalism and courtesy at all times.

• Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

• Must be punctual, reliable, and have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.

• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices is essential.

• Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
