Jetstream Ground Services Inc. Customer Service Agent in Boston, Massachusetts
The Customer Service Agent is responsible for serving the needs of the individual airline and the associated requirements of their aircraft in accordance with individual airline and JetStream Ground Service’s policies and procedures.
Passenger ticketing and baggage check in; ensuring passengers have the correct visas and paperwork for their scheduled flights
Boarding and deplaning passengers at the gate, as well as rebooking passengers who have missed their flight due to cancellation, delays, etc
Monitoring the air to ground radio for in-range calls, special requests from crews, maintenance requests, diversions, or any situation that pertains to the operation; communicating the information to customer service and ramp, logging departure times and fuel loads with dispatch
Completing necessary training for operations
Completing other duties pertaining to operations as requested by the general manager or supervisors
Ensuring paperwork is completed perfectly
Customer Service agents will also be cross trained to be ramp agents, and as such are responsible for the loading and unloading of baggage and cargo, marshalling aircraft in and out of the gate area, lavatory and water service, bag room duties, and any other ramp responsibilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, including Excel and Outlook
One (1) year previous experience in an airline operations environment or dispatch-related environment
Pass a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) 10-year background check and pre-employment drug test
Pass a Department of Homeland Security/Transportation Security Administration (TSA) security assessment
Legally eligible to work in the United States
Possess a valid U.S. Driver's License
