GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The Consultant, Prioritization & Process Automation will consult/analyze and deliver on more complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility on the information management team. S/he will be responsible for analyzing process automation requirements, developing value-added solutions, quality assurance, and providing SME support to internal clients. S/he will deliver more complex solutions following the development life cycle process. S/he will facilitate prioritization processes for information management cross multiple organizations, including, but not limited to claims, distribution, finance, actuarial, operations, product, and pricing.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Consults/Analyze on more complex assignments and/or projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Works with the functional area to understand process automation opportunity and delivers automated solutions to save time and generate efficiencies.
Tests increasingly complex data process changes thoroughly to ensure accuracy.
Consults and/or participates in the requirements, design and coding walkthroughs to ensure the development of quality solutions.
Proactively identifies problems and presents/develops solutions
Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders and management to prioritize information management work.
Leads and facilitates prioritization process across multiple functions including areas within IM and Data Strategy and communicates decisions made.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience (Minimum Required)
3 - 5+ Years experience in business intelligence, reporting, or other data area that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)
