Launched during summer 2023, Integrated Services will create and market new customer experiences by integrating hardware, software and services across Ford Blue, Model e and Ford Pro. These products and services will allow Ford’s retail and commercial customers to customize their vehicle like never before, with OTA-driven experiences that grow better over time. Ford is developing leadership at the forefront of connected, digital platforms that will revolutionize every aspect of how vehicles function, the way people interact with them, and the value those vehicles provide. Integrated Services is currently building its administrative and functional teams.

The Position:

Ford Integrated Services is seeking an entrepreneurial-minded media Executive Business Leader to architect and drive the development of a strategic business roadmap in the emerging automotive services domain that excites and delights our customers. The business lead will collaborate with Ford Integrated Services senior leadership to identify and execute a specific Connectivity + Media & Entertainment opportunity in alignment to the Ford+ plan.

Connectivity is foundational for Ford’s networked vehicle strategy and a key enabler for all future Integrated Services businesses. The business lead’s primary focus will be on the development of a viable business plan inclusive of a go-to-market strategy aligned to a financial, product, and customer experience roadmap to execute the business deliverables in 2024+.

  • Deliver a Connectivity + Media & Entertainment business by guiding a small, focused, cross-functional team leveraging the Ford Operating System behaviors (Focus, Collaboration, and Excellence) to drive rigor, discipline, clarity, and problem solving in this white-space opportunity

  • Direct all efforts related to business strategy, financials, project/program management, product, engineering, and operations with the goal of bringing a new innovative business to market rapidly and with quality

  • Shape and deliver both internal and external partnerships to accelerate the business opportunity in market

  • Manage complex stakeholder relationships to maximize business success

  • Partner with HR to acquire/grow talent for future stages of development.

  • Partner with Finance to ensure appropriate funding for long-term success

  • Leverage leadership confidence and competence to accept that you don’t know all the right answers but can find the right answers through iterative delivery

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study

  • 15+ years of progressive professional experience; inclusive of at least 5 years of experience in the connectivity / entertainment media space and 5 years of related experience in the automotive industry

  • Passion for the automotive business and the ability to see a vision for how this exciting business opportunity will bring joy to our customers

  • Experience managing and growing small cross-functional and scrappy teams

  • A resilient leader that has demonstrated an ability to develop and implement complex technology strategies, and communicate concisely, all within a rapidly evolving environment

  • Demonstrated proficiency in guiding proforma development, business planning

  • Demonstrated mastery of partnership management w/ internal & external partners

  • Demonstrated mastery of written and verbal communication skills, pitch development

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, w/ the ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment valuing a creative approach to developing innovative ideas that will stretch the organization and push boundaries within the industry

  • The ability to see the big picture and their team’s role in a financially healthy business

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Business Administration or similar professional experience is strongly preferred

  • Experience leading an activity in the startup phase of a business (Lean Startup)

  • Industry experience pioneering global perspective in digital services transformation and innovative products that engage users at a global scale
