Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).
Primary job duty is to sell technology software products and related services in a defined territory. Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities. Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support. Leverages the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. Builds and expands business partner revenue and self sufficiency.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience including 7 years of technology sales experience. Ability to forecast, manage sales expenses, and successfully close new Oracle business. Business development, prospecting and presentation skills. Excellent communication skills and problem solving ability. Proven track record of exceeding sales objective and territory/account development. Experience as the focal point for clients for all sales and related issues. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.

Federal Sales, System Integrators
The successful candidate will be a key part of a dynamic, growing team helping the biggest Federal Systems Integrators solve important problems with the latest cloud and automation technologies. Oracle Cloud Account Managers lead a diverse team of experts that put our customers’ mission first and ensure their success with Oracle IaaS and PaaS offerings. These services already meet strict FedRAMP High and DOD IL5 security requirements and are higher performance and lower cost than any other hyperscale cloud provider.
You will set your territory strategy to drive growth and act as the captain of a deep team of Technical, Marketing, Product, Business Development, and Partner experts with the support of Executive leadership. The ideal candidate has a track record of consultative engagements with Federal government agency leaders at the CxO level as well as commercial experience with Systems Integrators to identify business and technical challenges and convey the value of the appropriate solutions.
In your role, you will:
Prospect within the commercial accounts to create a pipeline of new cloud opportunities for the SI’s own use and for ISV solutions they deliver to customers.
Accurately forecast and progress opportunities to close
Work effectively as a teammate in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
Prepare and deliver business reviews to the management team regarding quarterly and yearly strategies to meet cloud revenue growth expectations
Manage complex contract negotiations and coordinate with channels, contracts, and legal to close business
10+ years of enterprise field sales experience
5+ years of sales experience selling enterprise software, hardware, managed hosting services or cloud services
Track record of consistent attainment via influencing customers and gaining their acceptance
Strong verbal and written communication and organization skills
Open to travel 30-50% of the time
BA/BS degree required
Direct sales experience to Federal Systems Integrators and Federal Government customers
Extensive customer network
Demonstrated success with complex deals to large enterprises
Advanced degree in a technical discipline
Oracle Cloud Associate Architect Certified (or higher)
