Cloud Application Security Product Manager - REMOTE in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

At U.S. Bank, Cybersecurity product managers plan, design, and oversee delivery of the Cyber strategy and roadmap for their products to achieve business outcomes and financial objectives. Their responsibilities include coordinating with enterprise stakeholders to set priorities, managing new development, BAU, and providing direction and oversight to the product team. U.S. Bank is seeking a Product Manager for Cloud Application Security and API Protection Engineering to oversee the strategic product management for an assigned product line in support of the organization's goals and market needs.

Responsibilities :

  • Meets product profit and growth goals.

  • Oversees the evaluation of market trends, product development, product position and pricing philosophy.

  • Recommends enhancements to product line to stimulate sales and meet objectives.

  • Ensures products meet state and Federal regulatory requirements and coordinate legal review of all supporting collateral materials and documentation.

  • Partner with peers to promote corporate marketing programs in order to achieve full participation and success within all designated locations.

This role will also be responsible for delivering and successfully implementing corporate marketing and sales support related programs into U.S. Bancorp sites within a specific business line or defined geographical area.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Eight or more years of related work experience

  • Applicable certifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of business goals and processes to inform product priorities, recommend improvements, lead product strategy, planning, and life cycle management efforts.

  • Develop strong relationships through regular communication with stakeholders to shape the product strategy and prioritize needs

  • Monitor business, market, and technology trends to inform product strategy and proactively propose new solutions.

  • Establish product roadmaps that satisfy requirements and achieve business objectives

  • Contribute to translating business requirements into actionable product and technical requirements.

  • Continuously monitor, evaluate product performance, and proactively champion product improvements to increase adoption of product capabilities.

  • Guide and empower the product team to scope, plan and deliver work, applying established delivery methodologies (e.g., agile methods) and best practices (e.g., reusability).

  • Ensure alignment and adherence to corporate, financial and IT standards (e.g., architecture, compliance, security).

  • Manage investment decision making and finances for the product, taking a return-on-investment approach to increasing the value while minimizing product costs.

  • Define, track, and communicate relevant KPIs for the product to measure performance and contribution to business goals and strategy.

Skills and Competencies

  • Relationship building and collaboration skills across diverse and matrixed stakeholders and customers.

  • Ability to facilitate discussions, prioritization of competing interests, managing both strategic and tactical stakeholder priorities.

  • A high degree of empathy: The ability to align and relate to the stakeholders while deriving the narrative of their poignant feedback

  • Experience delivering initiatives in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, including experience leveraging data to inform decision making and independently solving engineering problems.

  • Expertise in strategic thinking and strong business acumen.

  • Demonstrated success in defining and building products.

Experience Should Include

  • Domain expertise in Container Security, Cloud Application Security, API Protection within Microsoft cloud services (Azure) highly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of concepts and acumen related to Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Infrastructure as Code Web Application Firewall (WAF) offerings and Full Life Cycle API Management.

  • Experience related to Machine Learning (or AI Engines) in the areas of Bot Management, identification of false positives, management at scale and API discovery highly desired.

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Incentive opportunities are available for eligible positions. Pay Range: $125,715.00 - $147,900.00 - $162,690.00
