Navigant’s Healthcare Analytics practice enables organizations across the continuum of care – providers, payers and life sciences - with advanced analytic solutions and technology platforms for data processing and visualization. The Healthcare Analytics team processes varied data sets spanning across client financial, clinical and operational data to publicly available and third party data sources producing standardized and custom analytic outputs. The outputs are leveraged to derive actionable insights for organizations looking to achieve profitable growth, operate more efficiently and manage risk proactively.
The Revenue Cycle Management (“RCM”) Service Line is a team within the Healthcare Analytics practice that develops solutions to assess the health of the revenue cycle function, identify process inefficiencies and enable performance improvement. The RCM function encompasses all administrative and clinical functions that contribute to the capture, management, and collection of patient service revenue. It involves core business processes that cross administrative, financial and clinical department boundaries.
A key part of Navigant's work with clients involves leveraging Navigant’s proprietary analytic models, tools and products to perform analytics on data to generate insights for our clients. The Spotfire administrator/Developer plays a vital role in Business Intelligence platform management. This includes creating an environment that meets business needs by working with business and technical teams, defining and owning user and user group management processes, managing upgrades and hotfixes, optimizing server and dashboard performance and develop automated deployment processes to minimize manual intervention and errors. The ideal candidate for this role has experience with software development and administration including installation, patching, monitoring, optimizing server and dashboard performance, scripting as well as work with stakeholders to explain the features and limitations of the Spotfire platform.
Single point of contact for Business Intelligence platform administration including installation, upgrades, patches, provisioning internal, external users and user groups
Engage and partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and address them in a complex multi-tenant environment
Define and manage user and user group creation, access management and associated processes to ensure security and access
Work with internal IT, Network, Server, Security teams as well as vendors to troubleshoot any platform issues, including reviewing logs and resolve issues in production/non-production environments
Schedule and automate processes including code deployment/migration
Work with stakeholders to optimize server and dashboard performance
Responsible for defining processes and checklists to deploy/migrate between environments
Follows data governance standards, frameworks, templates, naming conventions and adheres to best platform management practices
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Math, Engineering or related discipline
3 to 5 years of hands-on experience administering a BI platform, preferably TIBCO Spotfire
Solid understanding of protocols, standards, firewalls, VPNs, VMs, Windows Servers and services
Experience in installation, configuration and maintenance of servers, networks, and/or related hardware and software
Experience in analyzing and assessing network architecture requirements and ability to determine optimum cost-effective solutions
Experience working with administrative tasks and concepts including managing upwards of 1000 users
Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Java etc. in an application development environment or business intelligence tools (Tableau, SSAS, Spotfire) is preferred
Good understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall and version control software like SVN
Highly motivated, strong problem solver, self-starter and fast learner with demonstrated analytic and quantitative skills
Excellent time management, verbal and written communication skills
Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
Work as a member of a team as well as be a self-motivator with ability to work independently
Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment to coordinate work
Frequently travels by airplane, train or car as necessary to perform work at another location
Regularly uses close visual acuity and operates computer equipment to prepare and analyze and transmit data
Generally works in an office environment
