Conduent Capture Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Capture Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing capture efforts to secure new business opportunities. You will collaborate closely with business development, proposal management, and operational teams to develop winning strategies and ensure successful bid submissions. This role requires a strategic and analytical thinker who can shape opportunities, conduct thorough research, and maintain momentum throughout complex capture processes.

Responsibilities

  • Leading capture efforts: Developing and executing capture plans to secure new business opportunities.

  • Shaping opportunities: Engaging early with potential clients to align their requirements with Conduent's capabilities.

  • Strategizing and planning: Conducting competitive analysis, identifying win themes, and developing strategies to differentiate Conduent’s offerings.

  • Conducting research: Analyzing market trends, client needs, and the competitive landscape to inform capture strategies.

  • Building relationships: Establishing and nurturing relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams to enhance Conduent’s position in the market.

  • Managing resources: Coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective capture activities.

  • Developing proposals: Collaborating with proposal managers and subject matter experts to create compelling, compliant proposals.

  • Analyzing data: Monitoring capture efforts to measure and inform success.

  • Maintaining momentum: Ensuring sustained engagement and enthusiasm throughout the capture process.

  • Tracking progress: Reporting on the status of capture efforts and ensuring alignment with business development goals.

  • Driving continuous improvement: Identifying lessons learned and best practices to enhance future capture processes and win rates.

Requirements

  • Demonstrating at least 5 years of experience in capture management or business development.

  • Proven track record of leading and winning business opportunities, with a strong understanding of the capture management lifecycle.

  • Developing strategic thinking and innovative capture strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Conducting research and analysis to inform strategic decisions.

  • Building strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.

  • Managing multiple capture efforts simultaneously and delivering results under tight deadlines.

  • Analyzing market trends, competitive landscape, and client requirements to develop winning strategies.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and leading them to success.

  • Maintaining resilience and persistence throughout lengthy and complex capture processes.

  • Holding a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the government contracting process and regulations, as well as experience working with federal, state, or local government agencies.

  • Understanding of technical concepts and solutions relevant to Conduent’s offerings.

  • Holding certifications in capture management or business development (e.g., PMP, APMP).

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive, and Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $140-170k.
