Job Description

The Pearson Higher Education B2B Marketing team is seeking a collaborative and results-oriented Campaign Specialist. The Campaign Specialist is responsible for the design and optimization of sales enablement and multi-channel B2B campaigns. These activities support the growth of Pearson higher education digital content and platform revenue by increasing sales pipeline velocity, generating sales leads, and supporting customer retention efforts.

As a Campaign Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring campaigns are driving successful outcomes for the Pearson Higher Education business. You will be part of a highly collaborative and agile diverse campaign team that works together to ensure that campaigns are aligned to priorities and key audiences, that planned content/assets/events are executed, that critical campaign metrics are established and measured, and that campaign tactics and content are optimized based on campaign metrics.

The ideal candidate is someone with a track record of success in B2B campaign planning, digital marketing, or content marketing who thrives in an agile, inclusive team environment and is excited about playing a key role in creating and amplifying the Pearson story to higher education faculty.

Responsibilities

  • Design sales enablement and multi-channel campaign plans based on the priorities, goals, product messaging frameworks, and key audiences defined in Go to Market Plans

  • Work closely with Content Marketing team for guidance on repeatable content and campaign strategies, frameworks, and best practices employed by the B2B Marketing team

  • Based on collaborative conversations with the campaign team, define the content, assets, and events needed to engage key audiences with thought leadership content and priority product messaging including: sales enablement collateral, landing page content, webinars, live/virtual events, blogs, case studies, white papers, in app notifications, etc.

  • Work with Content Marketing and Events teams to establish schedules for the creation and execution of content, assets and events, ensuring that asset availability and event timing are optimized to the sales cycle and pipeline stages

  • Establish email and digital channel tactics to drive engagement and pipeline velocity and develop plans and schedules for automated, personalized awareness and nurture campaigns leveraging Salesforce marketing technology (Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, Pardot)

  • Establish quantitative metrics to assess the success of campaign tactics (email & channels) and content/assets/events. Regularly review and share success metrics with key stakeholders.

  • Work with campaign team to optimize campaigns in real time based on success metrics. Develop A/B testing approaches to test and optimize tactics/content with key audiences.

  • Keep up to date with marketing, campaign, and marketing technology trends and share insights and best practices with the campaign team and other stakeholders

The anticipated starting salary for candidates expressing interest in this position is $80K. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Associates Degree or applicable skills credentials in marketing/digital marketing

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B marketing campaign planning, digital marketing, or content marketing

  • Experience with CRM marketing technology tools – Marketing Cloud and Pardot experience strongly preferred

  • Ability to inform content/asset creation and define email/digital channel tactics based on audiences and personas

  • Experience with B2B email tactics and/or digital marketing channels

  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM & Google Analytics

  • Exceptional collaboration skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment

  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to inform tactics and decisions

  • Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and the resilience to take on and solve complex problems by working with others

  • Ability to think strategically, prioritize tasks, and execute with attention to detail

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
