The Global Partner Solutions, US (GPSUS) organization is looking for a Business Program Manager, Tools & Reporting to join our Chief of Staff team. This role will work across GPSUS and our key partners in WW GPS, MSUS (Microsoft US), and Core Services Engineering (CSE) to drive Program Management and Change Management for the key tools and reporting required to support our sales motions, GPSUS roles, and partners.

Business Program Manager, Tools & Reporting

The Tools and Reporting BPM is a critical business role that looks left-to-right across Microsoft’s approach to Partner management, identifying gaps and issues with our tools and reporting, including Partner Center, Marketplace, GPS CRM, MSX CRM, and MSX Insights. You will work with GPSUS and business partners to ensure we have owners/SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) assigned for each key tool, and drive consistent understanding and definition of our business needs and gaps. You will drive thought leadership, facilitate change management, own our tools and reporting roadmap, provide structured tracking and follow up, and monitor effective delivery.

You will need to work cross-group to ensure stakeholders are engaged and drive alignment on understanding of our business needs. You will drive orchestration of our all-up tools and reporting requirements, rationalizing differing perspectives and inputs, driving prioritization and escalation. You will identify, document, and follow-up on issues, and help drive to closure to improve overall productivity of our organization, focusing on what will make our GPSUS employees and US partners more successful.

In addition, you will be the primary GPSUS voice representing our tools and reporting needs, and will be called upon frequently to communicate with our leadership team to apprise them of the latest information on issues, and provide guidance on how best to escalate when necessary to get appropriate resolution.

Within GPSUS you will work with multiple teams including Partner Management, Tech Enablement, Go-To-Market, Co-Selling, CPE, and Sales Excellence. And across the business you will partner with the WW GPS organization, with key stakeholders within MSUS, and with our CSE and engineering partners.

We are looking for a proactive and determined candidate who enjoys solving problems and contributing to the success of others. You will join the central team reporting into the GPSUS Chief of Staff, and look end to end across our business to identify tools and reporting blockages and program manage the definition and delivery of solutions.

You will need to have strong collaboration and business partnering, analytical, project management, and communications skills and have a track record of driving complex situations forward in ever-changing business environments.

  • Experience: 5+ years of related experience in: Project Management, Program Management, Business Management, Business Analysis

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, MBA/Masters a plus with focus on business administration, organizational management, business management, process management

  • Preferred but not required:

  • Hands-on experience with Project Management tools such as Agile, SCRUM, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Planner, and Azure DevOps

  • Familiarity with GPS internal tools and content repositories such as GPS Insights, GPS CRM, US Partner program sites, MSX, and MSX Insights.
