About the Role:
This individual contributor role will be a key member of the Field Reporting & Analytics team and will work across the Sales and Field Operations teams to analyze, build, and lead scalable solutions for Confluent’s pipeline generation and territory planning. Additionally, this role will apply creativity and analytical thinking to design and implement operational dashboards, ad hoc reporting, and data driven studies to arrive at actionable insights.
The role requires that you have a deep understanding of business intelligence best practices, RevOps/SalesOps methodology, stakeholder management, and how to transform data into insight. All necessary, so we can utilize world class functional dashboards, reporting, and analysis to ensure data-driven decisions are a daily part of how we work. To do this you will work with our Marketing, Finance, and Sales Strategy & Operations teams and have the support of our Data Science and Data Engineering teams to provide business insight.
A background in Tableau, SQL, data modeling, and experiences supporting Go-To-Market motions is essential. This position reports to the Director of Field Reporting & Analytics.
What You Will Do:
Create the Tableau dashboards and analytic reporting that allow us to measure and effectively execute pipeline generation and territory planning strategies that guide Sales, Partner, CAR, SDR and Customer Solutions Group actions and investment
Identification of opportunities for efficiency gain in delivering on our customer mission through deep dive analysis of available data, and collection of new data
Gather requirements, design, and build dashboards & analytic reporting based on stakeholders & leadership needs to help monitor performance for all key indicators.
Work with Director, Field Reporting & Analytics to define and maintain a set of data definitions and available measures across the Field Ops business, in alignment with our cross-functional analytic partner definitions.
Supporting our OKR process to measure the goals established for the organization. Working with leaders to define and understand trends in data leading to more accurate goals and objectives.
Work with our Sales Operations team to ensure world class functional reporting and analysis that is embedded into the everyday work processes
Work with Director, Field Reporting & Analytics to establish a roadmap and rationalization plan for all of our dashboards, reporting, analysis tools, and processes deployed across FieldOps
What You Will Bring:
BS degree, preferably with a post graduate degree in Analytics, Information Technology, Computing, Business, Operations, or a related discipline.
4+ years relevant industry experience or demonstrable applied knowledge of working with Tableau or other data visualization software, SQL (large data sets/data warehousing), and data modeling. Experience with R or Python is nice to have, but not required.
2+ years relevant industry experience or demonstrable applied domain-specific knowledge regarding sales, partner, SDR, Field enablement, professional services, customer success, or pre-sales data.
The ability to communicate cross-functionally, derive requirements and deliver insightful analysis and/or modelsAbility to synthesize, simplify and explain complex problems to different levels of audiences.

This position has an annual estimated salary of $128,700 - $151,200, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package.
