The Pricing Analyst will conduct cost modeling, pricing and perform analysis (strategic, operational, and financial) for business development opportunities. Pricing projects will include renewals of existing contracts, development of new bids and subsequent budget analysis / review. This position will be required to work with multiple departments including business development, operations, finance, IT, HR, consultants, and vendors to develop cost data suitable for pricing and validation of bid models.

Knowledge and Experience
2-3 years of professional experience in a Big Four or comparable professional services firm, with preference given to experience in fast-paced practice areas (transaction services, forensics, crisis management, etc.)
Experience writing and/or interpreting complex excel formulas, macros, and reporting tools
Experience with cost modeling and analysis of financial and/or operational data. Data mining experience preferred
Experience with interpreting contract documents to isolate key project deliverables, including the mitigation of operational and financial risks
CPA or other professional designation a plus
Transit experience a plus
Salesforce experience a plus
Strategy & Governance
Interact daily with proposal team to ensure consistency between the pricing and the technical proposal; Ensure data integrity and inclusion of all necessary components for the proposal/bid.
Coordinate with proposal team to confirm compliance with RFP terms, including accuracy and completeness of all required pricing forms
Ensure all models receive a thorough quality check, are reviewed by subject matter experts, and approved prior to submittal.
Coordinate and maintain a pricing work plan & timeline, in response to RFPs
Lead development of pricing review materials/presentations and provides input to governance review presentations, as a service to the BD leadership team
Prepare project cost checklist from RFP and draft contracts to identify risks and ensure pricing model completeness
Thoroughly review RFPs, Collective Bargaining Agreements, client data (service, maintenance, operating, etc.), and identification of all relevant cost drivers / risks for each new business opportunity.
Ensure that the basic operating and financial information used in pricing model templates are reasonable and current. Data and model architecture must be fully applicable to the project assignment, which may include deviations by geographic area and project/transit mode type. Ensure efficiency and competitiveness in pricing, utilizing historical operating cost data and standard industry operating ratios / KPIs.
Work directly with the department heads in determining key pricing inputs, such as service hours and miles, staffing, labor rates, fringe rates, maintenance expenses, insurance rates, and other administrative/operating costs; receive vendor quotes and determine other costs required for the services provided. A key responsibility will be to ensure all costs are considered in each pricing model.
Collaborates with Proposal Manager on the delivery of proposal/bid deliverables, promoting adherence to BD processes, agreed-upon schedules, and international governance milestones
Perform ad hoc analysis related to development opportunities on an as requested basis
Work with BD Administrator to identify scope of work subject to local subcontractor requirements; ensure participation meets RFP requirements
Cross-train with other departments by participating in special projects such as operational efficiency reviews, business feasibility studies, performance management, and business intelligence
