IBM BigFix World Wide Client Technical Specialist in Boston, Massachusetts
IBM Security solutions is looking for a Technical Sales and Enablement Specialist to focus on the BigFix product.This role will need to support both WW BigFix Technical Enablement and WW BigFix Technical Sales.
As an IBM Security Technical Sales and Technical Sales enablement Specialist, you assume technical leadership, interface with product management, Sales and Marketing to disseminate information to the field. You will also be part of the BIgFix leadership team and have responsibility for designing and selling security solutions that allow our clients to detect and respond to modern threats using tools such as log managers, SIEMs, asset tracking, vulnerability management, network monitoring, threat data/threat modeling systems and cognitive systems.
Successful candidates will:
Sufficiently motivated or ambitious with the ability to pursue further activity that benefits the BigFix segment without direction of others.
Understanding of the operation and usage of all Bigfix Solutions, Bigfix Action Script, BigFix Fixlet creation, Session and Client Relevance, Web Reporting, BigFix API's and other related technology.
Successful track record of Selling BigFix AND/OR extensive POC/POT/IMPLEMENTATION experience in all markets.
Demonstrated presentation and communication skills a requirement.
System setups for delivery of technical enablement for internal and partners.
Manage relationships with 3rd party technology providers
Actively promote program and recruit new partner interest and sales opportunities.
Understand and support broader Ready for IBM Security Ecosystem integration and partners as part of team.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Security and Operational domain expertise. Requires extensive experience with BigFix product family, including configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, demonstration system setup. Experience in operating systems, networks, and virtualization and cloud environments are a key requirement.
Experience in development, QA/Testing, and technical support
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
Python/Power shell/Scripting/shell, programming experience
Knowledge of networking (firewalls/routes/proxies/protocols)
Knowledge of IBM BigFix, other IBM Security products a plus
