JOB SUMMARY

The Learning Manager is responsible for the successful development, implementation, and continued maintenance of the curriculum within the learning program. The Learning Manager will work with all business functions to understand training requests, determine the most effective method of instruction, develop and build courses and implement through to assignment. The Learning Manager has extensive experience and the skill to utilize multiple technologies for world-class training within the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create new content for training as required by various business owners

  • Troubleshoot and maintain all courses within the IMLearning catalog

  • Understand the desired end state for successful training through effective communication with the training requestor and business owners

  • Develop and implement training to certify new and experienced coaches within the Sentinel Training Program

  • Learn and utilize new technology to enhance the training program such as editing software and QR codes

  • Create and deploy instructional videos to reinforce training outside of the IMLearning system

  • Conduct on-site training instruction and assessments when required to allow for maximum instructional effectiveness

  • Manage relationships with managers and supervisors to understand training needs and provide valuable training when requested

Key Skills, Requirements, and Competencies:

  • B.S. degree in organizational development or related field or equivalent experience

  • Fluent Spanish, verbal and written required

  • 3-5 + years of progressive experience as a learning & development trainer/ manager preferred

  • Experience with electronic learning management system implementation and management

  • Knowledge and use of Articulate 360 products a plus

  • Knowledge of video production software, such as Camtasia, a plus

  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal

  • Ability to build effective relationships, influence, and collaborate internally and externally at all organizational levels. The ability to lead multiple high-profile projects and effectively leverage available resources to drive results

  • Strong attention to detail
