AWS is seeking for a seasoned Business development sales specialist to help us accelerate customer demand and adoption of AWS infrastructure though Disaster recovery offering. As a specialist for this fast growing, exciting space, you will have the opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of the application recovery space for customers.

Your responsibilities will focus on driving non-linear growth in service demand and adoption, as well as lead strategic engagements from inception to launch.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record and background that enables them to lead sales motions and strategic sales engagements, alongside sales representatives, solutions architects, professional services and partners. The successful candidate will also possess a business background that enables them to interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as a technical understanding that enables them to easily interact with cloud architects and infrastructure business owners and develop trust. He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business solutions, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions and work cross-organizationally building consensus.

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Develop and lead non-linear global solution sales motion in collaboration with other services.

· Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurate forecast.

· Develop and execute account/territory plan, and meet or exceed quarterly targets.

· Drive revenue and consumption for CEDR service.

· Develop and partner with internal and external partners to extend reach & drive adoption.

· Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.

· Ensure customer satisfaction.

· Expect moderate travel (Subject to AWS travel guidelines)


· 5+ years of sales experience for DR / Storage related solutions

· 5+ years of Partner and/or Business development experience the UK

· Successfully exceeded quarterly sales and pipeline goals in green field territories


· Experience with the following technologies: Zerto, Commvault, Rubrik, Druva, VMware, Veeam, ASR

· Account management / Partner Business development / Customer success background

· BA/BS degree

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $120,000- 160,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
