Alexion Pharmaceuticals Associate Director, US Marketing, NMOSD in Boston, Massachusetts
Position Summary and Principal Activities:
The Associate Director will play a key role in the successful creation and execution of launch strategies and tactics for NMOSD - a rare, devastating, complement-mediated disorder of the central nervous system characterized by relapses. This position will collaborate closely with the Director, U.S. Marketing – NMOSD and will report to the Executive Director of US Marketing – NMOSD. Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support creation of go-to-market launch plan for NMOSD in the U.S.
Support and/or lead development of print and digital branded and unbranded assets
Manage annual congress plan and all aspects surrounding key meetings
Develop monthly and quarterly business review reports containing quantitative and qualitative actionable insights for senior leadership in close partnership with operations, finance and sales teams
Manage and implement KOL outreach and programming to gain ongoing insight to inform development of educational initiatives
Create and execute ongoing training for promotional speakers, including Faculty Development Meetings and other key tactics for ongoing training
Manage cross-functional coordination with other Alexion line functions (e.g. clinical, medical affairs, regulatory, sales) focused on key customer segments
Communicate effectively to all levels of Alexion staff and management
Work with the highest degree of professionalism and in accordance with the company’s policies and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
Candidate will play a key role in developing effective partnerships with key opinion leaders and work collaboratively across many cross-functional teams.
This person must possess a strong ability to manage multiple projects across functional areas, and work independently when appropriate, within teams, and as a sub-team lead.
Successful results driven performance in marketing roles, including product launches
Experience in marketing message development and communication
Bachelor's degree required, Graduate Degree Preferred
Strong knowledge of MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Strong organization, planning and prioritization skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Certain activities may involve travel 40% of the time or involve weekend programs.
