Associate Director, Account Management
This key client contact position is based in Southern California market and is responsible for client satisfaction and relationships in our large company accounts. Marketing services knowledge will be key for this role along with the ability to develop and build healthy relationships with various key client representatives, including C-level officers and senior management. You will also act to expand volume and revenue base and pursue organic business growth opportunities with existing customers along with delivering detailed solutions inclusive of Concentrix Marketing Solutions offerings.
Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities:
Be the primary focal point and owner for all activities and concerns on a large complex contract which include contract negotiations and renewals, forecasting, client invoice sign-off, contract amendments and bid proposals.
Accountable for meeting revenue, profit, existing account growth objectives (Embedded Growth) and overall customer satisfaction targets on assigned account
Responsible and strong emphasis on achieving Embedded Growth goals within existing account Qualifies, prioritizes, prices and negotiates new Embedded Growth opportunities to effectively utilize MMS resources
Monitors and reviews financial summary information related to Client with executive and financial teams and assist in efficiency strategies to ensure maximum account financial performance.
Ensures performance commitments are met for program launch and execution through direct and indirect means.
Perform contract crisis management, manages contract scope, commitments, and responsibilities of all parties.
Lead effective interdepartmental relationships for team-based problem solving for all existing client issues.
Anticipate risks & negative trends, effectively assesses these factors and implements the Risk Management System to mitigate events that could jeopardize the contract and revenue goals.
Proactively works with client to identify their business objectives, priorities and directions, critical success factors and applies this knowledge to establish and implement an Account Strategy.
Understand the competition and works with the client to identify potential areas of growth and ensures growth plans are tied into overall account plan to stem contract erosion.
Ensure Delivery manages all major program / project schedules and contract deliverables that support the client's business with a focus on delivering on every commitment made to the client.
Responsible for the creation, harvesting, protection, and reuse of intellectual capital.
Assuming additional responsibilities as assigned
Location - Irvine CA and travel to client site required
Bachelors degree in related field from an accredited four-year college or university with 11+ years of experience (with 3-5years of progressive management experience) preferred.
7+ years of automotive marketing experience required
Advanced ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret.
Extensive understanding of the organizations business operations and industry practices.
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team on developing customer relationships.
Demonstrated the ability to champion significant projects, programs and business initiatives using creativity and ingenuity.
Demonstrated the ability to lead strategy behind mentoring and coaching for team(s) and to act as leadership advisor to lower-level management.
Proven ability to lead and organize multi-disciplinary projects and initiatives in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment with broad impacts.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Mastery of communication skills and styles, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to effectively present information to internal and external associates.
