Weston & Sampson Aquatics Designer/Engineer in Boston, Massachusetts
We are currently seeking an Aquatics Designer or Engineer to work remote preferably in the Philadelphia area with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience to join our growing Design team.
Our ideal candidate will have strong design, computer, and technical writing skills as well as the ability and desire to work on challenging projects that involve the development of aquatics facilities all over the world, ranging from rooftop pools to collegiate competition pools, municipal facilities, and even water parks. This is a support position that provides an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their skills, gain professional registration and be an integral part of a company with an outstanding reputation.
What you’ll do:
Duties will include assistance/leadership in the preparation of reports, master plans, design development drawings and construction documents and in administering project construction and client coordination/interface.
Establishing technical specifications
Construction Administration support
Candidates must be amenable to both local and out of state/country travel for project meetings, permitting hearings and public engagement.
What you will bring:
A bachelor’s degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or Architecture is desired
minimum of 3 years experience
A great attitude and willingness to learn.
Outstanding proficiency in MEP Revit and AutoCAD
Experience with digital rendering software including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch-Up is preferred.
Active Driver’s License
