Job Description

The Boston University School of Law Admissions is a team focused on the enrollment of students characterized by extraordinary academic achievements and diverse life experiences. The Admissions and Communications Specialist is a critical representative for the JD Program.

This role handles the admission processes and procedures, including crafting methods to increase efficiency and accuracy across all stages of the application process. Communicates directly with prospects, applicants and admitted students throughout the admissions cycle. Reviews applications and makes admission recommendations. Hires and supervises student workers.

Collaborates on social media for the office and creates marketing content with a focus on metrics. Contributes to the development of recruitment efforts and attend local recruiting events. Processes all mass mailings for recruitment events.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of work experience required, preferably in higher education. An ideal candidate will have experience with admissions databases, email marketing tools, and social media platforms.

  • Valid driver’s license.
