Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking an Accounting Analyst. The successful candidate will work closely with the Accounting and Finance departments to help evaluate this organization's income and spending. This highly collaborate role is best for someone with excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.

What you get to do every day:

• Extract, manipulate and organize data in response to management requests

• Preparation and review of balance sheet account reconciliations and journal entries

• Prepare and disseminate financial reports

• Support accurate month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting close cycles

• Examine and collect a wide range of complex financial data

• Help manage AP/AR (Very low volume), Account & Bank Reconciliations, Closing of books on a monthly basis

• Track operational and financial metrics as well as analyzing financial data, preparing analysis, explain variances and investigating discrepancies

• Assist with monthly & quarterly reporting for the management team

• Ad hoc financial modeling, analysis & project support

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in Excel and other large ERPs

• Must have analytical and interpersonal skills

• 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, data analysis or similar role

• BS in Accounting or Finance

• Experience with QuickBooks, Stripe, or Google Suites required

• High level Excel skills

• Strong critical thinker with interpersonal skills

• Good communication skills

• V-Lookups or Pivot Table experience is preferred
