Validity Account Executive in Boston, Massachusetts
About the Role
Validity is looking for Account Executives to join our high-performing sales team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling Validity’s Software as a Service products to companies across all industries. The Account Executive is an internal/territory-based position working in our Boston, MA office.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
Sell Validity’s products and services directly to businesses to targeted Personas across all industries
Consistently attain and exceed monthly sales quotas
Qualify and screen all inbound inquires
Work in a team environment to drive all prospecting, qualification, sales activities and sales targets in a defined geography or territory
Utilize Validity’s sales process to uncover customer/prospect needs and correspondingly the value of the business problem we are attempting to solve
Become proficient with using the CRM Salesforce Automation tools for contact management, opportunity tracking, sales pipeline management, forecasting and sales reporting
Required Experience, Skills, and Education
Successful quota carrying experience selling technology products or services, calling on business influencers and meeting monthly performance objectives
Are excellent listeners and know how to ask effective follow-on questions
Understand how to tell compelling stories which offer valuable and unique perspectives
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to make 60+ phone calls per day and build rapport over the telephone and video meetings with targeted personas
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills and ability to multitask with close attention to detail
Outstanding time management skills
Experience using CRM tools to manage and forecast sales opportunities
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Willingness to sell in a team environment, where interaction with other inside professionals and marketing personnel is necessary to achieve sales goals
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education
College degree or equivalent experience
SaaS sales experience is a plus, but not a requirement
