Boston University ACADEMIC PROGRAM COORDINATOR, College of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering in BOSTON, Massachusetts
The Mechanical Engineering (MechE) Department is looking for a candidate who is excited to work with graduate students in an energetic and transformative environment. This person will be responsible for managing and supporting the administrative operations of the academic programs and population, specifically the Master's (MS and LEAP) degrees by providing support to students, faculty, and staff. They will liaise between the college's graduate programs office, undergraduate programs office, and other central administrative offices at the University. They should be excited to engage in recruitment activities, organize and execute events in support of the department's Master's programs. They will be versed and compliant on internal and external policy and procedures.
Required Skills
B.A./B.S. required.
One to three years of experience.
Experience in higher ed preferred.
Program management, advising, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are essential to this position.
