Role Summary/Purpose

In this role the candidate will be responsible for moving material from the stockroom to help

support manufacturing. Ideal candidate will be an energetic, hard-working and detail-oriented

individual with a sense of urgency and motivation. Must be a team-player.

Essential Responsibilities

· Perform ERP system transactions as required

· Issue materials and stock assemblies with the use of a dispatch list

· Process incoming materials from inspection to stock

· Process outgoing materials for customer deliveries to shipping

· Retrieve and deliver all production material(s) to / from the designated work centers

· Perform daily cycle counting of material

· Perform annual Physical Inventory (PI) as required

· Maintain material identification, serialization, and purchase order traceability as required

· Follow handling and storage conditions as specified by SOP’s or WI’s

· Troubleshoot and correct goods movement errors and stock discrepancies as required

· Have an advanced understanding of material movements (cause and effect) in ERP system

· Coordinate stocking strategies and / or discrepancies with Buyer Planners

· Coordinate processing of OSP materials with Buyer Planners and Shipping / Receiving

Personnel

· Conduct daily housekeeping and maintain strong HSE participation

· Perform duties in a safe manner and proactively identify and correct safety issues

· Comply with all HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) guidelines (LOTO, Management of

Change, high risk operations, PPE, etc.)

· Multi-task and prioritize business needs

· Effectively communicate and perform duties in team environment

· Frequently perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, reaching, standing, walking,

and/or climbing stairs and ladders

· Be comfortable with frequent unassisted lifts up-to 40 lbs. and occasional team lifts over 40

lbs.

Qualifications/Requirements

· High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school or institution

· Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience

Eligibility requirements:

· Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required

· Perform work requiring pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities

· Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as

required

· Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Desired Characteristics

· Advanced computer skills, including SAP knowledge

· Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision

· Self-motivated with the ability to perform well within a cross-functional team environment

· Basic Computer Skills

· Willingness to work independently, with minimal direct supervision

· Demonstrated teamwork ability, interpersonal and leadership skills

· Strong analytical ability and attention to detail

· Previous ERP system experience, SAP preferred
