Festo Corporation Project Manager in Billerica, Massachusetts
Job Descriptions:
Responsible for meeting project goals and deadlines
Responsible for presenting product and project status and management reporting throughout the development process
Provide technical guidance & leadership on cross-functional and intercultural teams
Interface effectively with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Product Management functions
Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components and services
Carry ideas and projects from early concept all the way through manufacturing
Responsible for the project compliance with Festo processes and corporate instructions
Required Experience:
Above average Bachelor’s or Master's degree in technical discipline
Extensive knowledge of Technology concepts, technical standards and methodologies in the life science sector, key tools used for analysis, testing and development for liquid handling systems, electronic experience a strong plus
7+ years of experience
Effective interpersonal, communication & leadership skills as well as conflict management
Experience leading projects through a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of manufacturing and process development activities such as qualification, validation, design of experiments, FMEA and design for manufacturing
Must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and have the ability to interact effectively with people in all areas of the company including Plant Operations, R&D, Quality, and Product Management
