Our client north of Boston has an exciting full time opportunity for a Director of Operations! Candidates for this position must come with at least 10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, overseeing management, continuous improvement, performance, costs, and customer interaction. Candidates who are coming from a machining background could do well here, especially if you have a Six Sigma certification. A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Mechanical engineering is also required in this role.

• Oversee the overall direction, management, and performance of departments, ensuring compliance with policies and applicable laws.

• Reduce product costs while meeting customer value expectations.

• Lead LEAN initiatives to minimize quality-related costs, including scrap, rework, and field failures.

• Communicate with customers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

• Develop and implement performance metrics to ensure timely delivery of production to customers.
