Shipping and Receiving

Large manufacturing company in Beverly Ma is looking for a shipper/ receiver to assist them during the next few months. There is a potential this may turn into a permanent opportunity for the right person. The position receives and ships goods and materials. This is an immediate need! The ideal candidate will have strong experience with computers as well as with shipping domestically and internationally, ERP systems, Pitney Bowes machines and Instapak machines. Responsibilities

 Receives, inspects, distributes and/or stores all incoming goods and materials.

 Inspects and packs all outgoing goods and materials.

 Selects, schedules, and negotiates with outgoing carriers.

 Generates commercial shipping and receiving documentation.

 Picks and ships “ship from stock” materials.

 Organizes and maintains finished goods warehouse.

 Monitors and purchases shipping/receiving material requirements (i.e. boxes, etc.)
