As the market leader in software solutions for the design, operation and maintenance of process industries, we are seeking a high energy technically oriented professional to work marketer to work as a Product Marketing Specialist for the Engineering, Chemicals business. This global position has primary “go-to-market” responsibility for market campaign strategy, packaging, positioning, messaging, and the commercial success of our solutions serving the Engineering chemicals vertical segment.
The Senior Product Marketing Specialist will assist in developing and implementing the “go-to-market” activities for the Engineering Chemicals business and collaborates closely with globally distributed cross-functional teams in Field Marketing, Sales, Product Management and other internal and external functions to drive adoption of AspenTech’s ENG applications. The right candidate will be a quick learner and able to absorb industry and product knowledge rapidly to make immediate contributions to the organization.
Assist in the definition and execution of the Go to Market strategy and tactics in Chemicals market segment.
Ability to clearly demonstrate and articulate the value of AspenTech's the Engineering Chemicals business to a wide variety of business stakeholders.
Assist in developing product positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market.
Identify Best Practices in the Engineering Chemicals business through research and case studies from customers.
Develop and deliver sales training and supporting materials (presentations and demonstrations) to Sales.
Assist in the development and delivery of all content and sales enablement tools for both direct and indirect channels to support and drive sales strategy.
Development of conference content and identification of customer papers for Aspen Global Conferences and customer-facing marketing events.
Assist in driving successful marketing campaigns with compelling content.
Create content to drive solution awareness including product collateral, whitepapers, web, video and social content.
Work collaboratively with Industry Marketing to ensure solution area messaging is representative of relevant industry dynamics.
What You'll Need
Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline required, MBA a plus.
5 years’ experience of demonstrated success in the Chemicals or related process industry segments
Successful history in product marketing, including experience with worldwide marketing campaigns.
Introductory experience in product marketing, including experience with marketing campaigns, for companies manufacturing or supplying the bulk or specialty chemicals marketplace is desired.
Self-directed, highly motivated, detail-oriented, charismatic, personable.
Excellent presentation, communication and analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to understand and convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Ability and willingness to travel at least 15% (including internationally).
