ManpowerGroup Scientist I or Senior Research Associate, Process Development in Bedford, Massachusetts
Resilience is seeking a talented Scientist I or Senior Research Associate to join the Cell Therapy Franchise in Process Development. The successful candidate will serve as a key process development team member, establishing laboratory capabilities and advancing the cell therapy biomanufacturing platform within Resilience. This individual should have experience with cell therapy processing technologies, process development initiatives, and technology transfer across multiple modalities (immune cells, CD34+ stem cells, iPSCs, etc). This scientist will collaborate with teams across the cell therapy franchise and the broader Resilience network, such as analytical development and manufacturing.
Support cell culture process development initiatives to enable the development of closed and automated clinical scale manufacturing processes.
Assist in developing in-house scientific and technical capabilities with a focus on innovative technologies to accelerate cell therapy process development.
Conduct, and interpret process development and process optimization experiments in close collaboration with other PD team members.
Maintain appropriate electronic lab notebook and aid in authoring and reviewing documentation such as SOPs and study protocols.
For Scientist I: PhD and 0+ years of industry experience, Master's degree and 2+ years of directly related experience, or bachelor's degree and 5+ years of directly related experience. Candidates at the Scientist I level should bring expert knowledge of scientific principles and concepts in cell therapy process development and demonstrated success in exercising scientific creativity, designing and conducting independent experiments, and using good judgment in selecting and troubleshooting methods to obtain results.
For Senior Research Associate: Master's degree and 2+ years of directly related experience or bachelor's degree and 5+ years of directly related experience. Candidates at the Senior Research Associate level should be able to complete day-to-day work in cell therapy process development with minimal supervision and should be able to take on new techniques and assignments after receiving general instructions.

Ability to work in a collaborative team environment to develop innovative, cost-effective biomanufacturing platforms for our partners and clients.
Experience with automated cell processing systems and closed processes for immune cells and CD34+ stem cells.
Experience with closed system manufacturing, scale-up, pilot plant and/or automation.
Experience with technology transfer or process validation.
