Oracle Sales Director in Bedford, Massachusetts
Overall responsibility for the regions sales, third party alliances, and customer satisfaction. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle's opportunities across all products and product lines.
Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process. May manage a Regional Manager or Branch Manager. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations important. 5 or more years sales or sales management experience within technology industry. Ability to hire and train new sales representatives. Ability to resolve customer satisfaction issues. Demonstrated leadership skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to large and small audiences. Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions. Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution abilities.

The Enterprise Growth Accounts team is seeking to hire a Regional Manager. This candidate will sell Oracle s Technology Solutions and is responsible for on premise and cloud solutions in a field sales position. These solutions are Infrastructure as a Service and Platform solutions (PaaS/IaaS). The overall responsibility for the regions sales, and customer satisfaction and expansion. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle s opportunities across Oracle s Technology Solutions. Leading a team of five Cloud Platform Representatives (CPRs) located in Chicago, IL and Austin, TX. The EGA account set includes approximately 100 accounts of both Oracle installed and whitespace accounts in multiple industries. This is an opportunity for a driven sales leader to help build a team and expand Oracle s cloud to new existing customers. Additionally, this team is supported by a team of Enterprise Cloud Architects and Customer Success Managers. The ideal candidate spends a majority of time in front of customers to help position solutions and articulate the unique value Oracle provides to the marketplace.
Develop and execute an effective territory plan focus sales revenue and customer satisfaction;
Commit to and deliver results based on assigned monthly and quarterly targets;
Recruit, develop, enable and retain CPRs;
Implement and execute strategic sales plan to maximize revenue;
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline data using Oracle Sales Cloud;
Effectively negotiate customer contracts and transactional documents; and
Understand, implement and monitor business controls.
Experience building consistent new revenue pipeline
Develop and execute new client acquisition plans;
Ability to resolve customer satisfaction issues;
Exhibit written and verbal communication skills;
Comfort in interacting with customer executives in information technology and lines of business;
Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution abilities.
Proven ability to sell data and platform technologies.
