Position Summary

The position is in the QA Customer Simulation group and it involves sample analysis in the laboratory on IL instrumentation, documenting, recognizing, and reporting failures. This position also involves some office computer skills such as word, excel.

Key Attributes

  • The student will be trained to perform maintenance and testing on IL affiliated instruments such as ACL Top, GEM Premier Analyzer family, Rotem products. This will involve reading procedures, operating manuals and hands on training.

  • The student will follow the procedures for laboratory safety and workflows.

  • The student will be trained to compile the testing results for review with QA laboratory personnel to determine if the results are valid and acceptable.

  • The student will also handle and transfer instrument data using windows, excel, word, etc.

  • The student will participate in laboratory maintenance and general housekeeping

  • The student will work in a busy simulated customer environment.

  • The student will perform additional tasks as required

  • Someone with good communication and time management skills

  • Someone who can work around blood and other biohazards
