Responsibilities include:

  • Developing technical solutions to complex technical challenges in the areas of antennas and electromagnetics

  • Developing business relationships with industry, academia, and government agencies

  • Applying state-of-the-art techniques in additive manufacturing to enhance antenna technologies

  • Utilizing commercial electromagnetic simulation software packages to model antennas, RF circuits, propagation, and scattering

  • Utilizing MATLAB code for sensing, communications, Electronic-Warfare (EW), and electromagnetics modeling

  • Leading small teams in designing innovative electromagnetics solutions to complex challenges

  • Identifying technology gaps and their solutions for insertion into both fielded and developmental systems.

  • Antenna testing including near-field and far-field measurements

Basic Qualifications:

  • MS and 10 years of related experience, including 2 years of leadership experience

  • Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.

Required Qualifications:

  • MS or PhD with extensive experience in electromagnetics/antenna design

  • Experience with designing, prototyping, evaluating, testing and fielding solutions

  • Successful experience developing business relationships with industry, academia, and/or government agencies

  • Mastery of least two subject areas typically associated with communications, sensing, EW, electromagnetics, signal processing, and RF hardware

  • Extensive experience with FEKO, CST, HFSS or a similar electromagnetic simulation code, and analytical tools such as MATLAB

  • Hands-on testing of microwave components and antennas along with array assembly and array integration and test

  • Experience leading teams developing advanced technologies

  • Exceptional oral and written technical communication skills

  • Having or capable of obtaining a Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD in electrical engineering, math or physics

  • Experience designing solutions for Electronic Warfare applications

  • Specific domain expertise in advanced manufacturing and additive manufacturing as applied to antennas and electromagnetic structures, advanced beamforming techniques, 5G technology, and multifunctional RF systems

  • Demonstrated cost and schedule management experience

  • Top Secret clearance
