Oracle POS Sales Executive in Bedford, Massachusetts

Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).

Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years field sales experience with focus on large strategic accounts including applications sales experience. Highly developed selling, customer relations and negotiation skills. Successful sales track record. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Presentation skills. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.

POS Sales Executive

This is an excitingopportunity for you to join the Oracle Food and Beverage team selling our Pointof Sale (POS) Products. We are looking for experienced salesrepresentatives to target medium to large sized restaurant groups working withinan assigned target list and/or market segment. You ll be tasked with achieving maximum salesprofitability, growth, and account penetration by effectively selling OracleFood and Beverage POS products and services.

You will qualify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluatingtheir position in the industry. Developing and maintaining relationships withsuch prospects will be an integral part of the sales process and an expectationof the position. You ll be representingthe company at outside events, as well, such as trade shows, conferences, andassociation meetings. You ll need to understandand be able to articulate the value of innovation and adopting leading edge technologiesand services to your customer base. Thejob will entail preparing detailed proposals that include hardware, software,and services in order to meet or exceed monthly/yearly sales and revenueobjectives outlined within our forecasting tools. Part of the job will be understanding yourcompetition throughmonitoring and evaluatethe activities and products they sell. You llhave the opportunity to work with our System Engineers and Directors to understandthe complexities of the products and to implement strategic sales plans toaccommodate corporate goals.

Bachelor's Degree and aminimum of 2 years related experience or an equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.

Experience sellingbusiness applications software to hospitality industry.

-{PS..1}->Record of consistentlymeeting and exceeding annual sales quotas.

Skill at identifyingstakeholder and decision-makers and building strong relationships with alllevels of customers from owners to executive management.

-{PS..2}->Operational experiencein the hospitality industry is strongly preferred.

Strong consultativeselling, listening, and writing skills. Ability to understand client needs anddemonstrate the impact & value/ROI of products and services.

-{PS..3}->Comprehensive knowledgeof how products and services can positively impact organizations operations.

Ability to providedynamic product demonstrations.

-{PS..4}->Ability to learntechnical aspects of the products. Relationship-building skills: Capable ofbuilding and perpetuating profitable business partnerships and relationships,which promote long-term success.

Working knowledge ofcustomer relationship management systems; spreadsheet software and wordprocessing software.

-{PS..5}->Must have reliabletransportation, valid driver s license and have the ability and desire totravel locally 90% of the time, with occasional out of town travel.


While performing theduties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and/or stand andmay occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
